Qurratis or Ayanis
(Followers of Táhirih/Qurratu'l-'Ayn)

Tahirih's had a prophetic station, including periods before and after the proclamation of the Bab. The period before the declaration involved the Shaykhi School of thought which viewed Tahirih as the new Point of Divine Knowledge (Nuqt'i'i-ilimi-ilahi). Qurratiis considered her to be the successor of the passing leader of the Shaykhi School, Siyyid Kazim-i-Rashti.

A circle of admirers soon rose up around her, drawn by her eloquence and learning, among them was the widow of Siyyid Kazim, who welcomed Tahirih as a guest in her home in Karbilá. These devotees of Táhirih/Qurratu'l-Ayn were known as Qurratis.

Táhirih/Qurratu'l-'Ayn, in her own writings shows that she is a devout follower of the Bab. After the Bab was martyred (d.1850) there was a small group of followers that considered Táhirih/Qurratu'l-'Ayn as a new source of equal epiphany as the Bab.

According to Ismael Velasco, a scholar and Baha'i, some Babis were known as 'Ayanis, The Ayanis were one of the Babi factions that followed Tahirih's divine leadership. Tahirih translated the Bab's Writings of the Bayan into Arabic as well as perfect Farsi."

Several Babis clung to Táhirih/Qurratu'l-'Ayn as the new source of Revelation which may have included the Ayanis, who were, according Ismael Velasco, defenders of antinomianism, a position opposed to legalism which holds the notion that obedience to a code of religious law is not necessary for salvation. This position is condemned by Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith as well as Subh-i-Azal who was appointed as Primal Mirror by the Bab.

1-Bahais have intentionally downgraded Tahira's teachings to disadvantage women. "Her figure (i.e. Tahira) being subsumed by Baha'i and the fundamental barbarian hijackers allowed for Her basic teachings to be ignored so as to keep women in secondary positions and continue in male hegemony. "

2-Bahais have rejected the true station of Tahira. "Both the present day Baha'i and Bayani Universalists (hazini religion) are male primogeniture religions and therefore have reason to reject the true station of Tahirih"

3-The Qurratis (followers of Tahirih) used to come together in "Study Circles" to study Her teachings and that of the Shaykhi School. One of Tahirih's main teachings is that of 'inner truth' being trump therefore it is unfortunate that the Ruhi Institutes took on that term where they don't honor 'inner truth' and rather submit to memetic lexiconic memorization as trump.
